Note to self: Next time you do a bag like this, wait until felting is complete to attach the straps. I think I'll sew buttons over the four spots where the straps meet the bag. It won't make up for the straps not lining up, but you know what they say: if you can't fix it, feature it.

I love it. I'm with you on the buttons too - quite a lot of my knitted things have 'feature' buttons :)
One of my favorite sayings was painted on a classroom wall in a craft shop: "It's not a mistake, it's a creative springboard."
The straps were not a mistake as much as they were an experiment with results I didn't expect. :)
