WIP Wednesday

My WIPs are:
  • doubleknit scarf that I haven't touched in weeks.
  • 10-stitch blanket that's an ongoing project using up leftovers.
  • a pair of socks that will probably appear finished on Friday
I've stalled on my mystery blanket/afghan project.  I could start it over with larger needles, but it might have the same problem it has now:  too long and narrow.  If I frog it, I should have enough yarn to make a pattern I've admired for some time, Sylvi:
I think it would be more fun to do.

Finished Object Friday

I did not finish these all this week.  I didn't finish them all this month.  They've been slowly piling up.

Bowties are Cool mystery shawl.  See the bow ties?

Calathea socks.  These are the March Knit from Stash socks.

Moone boy hat:

Revenge of the Lawn socks:
Pineaux socks:
The pattern is nearly as lost in real life as in the picture.  The yarn's from Mountain Girl Yarns and I like it very much.

Stash Enhancement Saturday

I'm back.  It's been:  knit, knit, frog.  Pick up a different project.  Knit, knit, frog.  Repeat until you get the flu.

This is the latest from the Mad Geek Tour "What is your Quest?".  It's called A Shrubbery!
I think I like this colorway the best of any Mad Color so far.

I have no clue to what I'll do next.  I'm this (fingers held together so you can't see between them) close to frogging my knitalong projects.  It isn't the author's fault at ALL.  The patterns are all interesting and well written.  It is basically the size that things are coming out.  The scarf's too wide and I'll never wear it even if it wasn't.  The afghan/blankie is coming out long and narrow.  I might restart it with the gigantic needles -or- I might see what I can find in Ravelry that uses the same amount of bulky yarn.

In the meantime, there are still socks.
