DIY Sock Club

Whining about flaky sock clubs is so 2009. The one way of getting what you like when you expect to receive it is by doing it yourself. The Yarn Harlot was tweeting earlier about putting together her own sock club for herself, and I was inspired to do something similar.

I decided to go with a seasonal theme and do four kits. Each kit has sock yarn and a pattern in a project bag, along with a little "surprise". There are fun things that have accumulated around here over the last couple of weeks. I'll probably forget I have them and they really will be a surprised when the time comes. They are all stashed away in this bag my brother gave me. Just looking at it makes me happy and not at all whiny.
