My brain's turned to mush, so focusing on anything fibery has been difficult. I turned a big ball of roving into something resembling yarn. I then took the "yarn" and turned into something resembling a hat. The pattern's the Ballard Slouch Hat. Yeah, there was a pattern. It's not the pattern's fault it isn't visible. It was just me, using my homemade "yarn" in multiple colors when a solid would've been appropriate.
The hat is warm and comfortable and it reminds me of visiting Archie McPhee's in Ballard. I can also get the lid on my spinning fiber bucket. I think this counts as a success.
